The corpse of a young woman is found near the shoulder of a mountain road. The young detective Einar Meyer is put on the case together with a team from the Danish National Police. They are looking for a psychopath, cold as ice.
As the investigation progresses, Einar’s strength wanes and his weaknesses take hold of him.
