These poems were crafted in an attempt to process the emotions and thoughts that emerge, when one of our dearest, at an age far too young, is struck by incurable dementia
Writing poetry has provided me with new and different opportunities to express feelings and thoughts. Working with symbolism and imagery has opened my senses to new contexts, and I have gained a new perspective on existence.
Writing poetry has become a method by which to understand the world and our thoughts. Giving form to something that was once shapeless. An attempt to make the complicated simple.
